My Natural Vegan Skincare Routine – The Body Shop

Hi everybody! I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. Today I felt called to share my Natural Vegan Skincare Routine as I am more and more into bringing my Plant-Based Lifestyle to the fullest.

Step 1. CLEANSE

First step of my skincare routine is removing my makeup. I have ALWAYS been using coconut oil. I rub it in my hands and gently massage it in my face in upwards movements. I often wear waterproof mascara and red liquid lipstick. Using extra-virgin coconut oil is the most efficient and gentle way I found to remove my makeup once my day is over.

Once all the makeup has dissolved on my face – and I look like a little clown – it is time to wash my face with a gentle foaming wash to remove all the dirt and oil.

I cannot begin to tell you what a fabulous experience has it been testing the Drops of Youth skincare range from The Body Shop. If you feel like your skin needs extra care and freshness, this is the perfect range for you. One of the steps I love the most is using the Drops of Youth Liquid Peel. This is a truly magical product. It liberates your skin from all pollution and dirt, you can literally see the dirt coming off your skin as you use it. If you have the opportunity to try it in a The Body Shop store, I 100% recommend you give it a go.

Step 2. Hydrate

It is not a secret anymore that hydration – from the inside and outside – is what keeps your skin looking as you had 8 hours of perfectly resting sleep.

Shall I feel my skin needs an extra boost of freshness and kindness after a long week, I use the Amazonian Açaï Energizing Radiance Mask, that I always keep in the fridge. Shouldn’t you have noticed yet, my Vegan Skincare Routine is composed of The Body Shop products for the most part. I find this brand meets every expectation I have about Vegan skincare products. This face mask and its whole range is simply the best out there.

I love using an eye and lip contour care with all natural ingredients for sensitive skin, before sleep and after washing my face in the morning. Eye contour cream is the most important skincare step to prevent your skin to wrinkle and dry. Speaking og wrinkles and skin-aging, are you putting sunscreen on? What a huge MUST for the health of your skin. Every single morning I use a Vitamin E, SPF 30 lotion. This one from The Body Shop is also enriched with hyaluronic acid and helps defend against UVA and UVB rays to prevent premature skin ageing. I find this product perfect to lock in moisture and protect your skin all day long.

Those are my beauty secrets for today! If this post was helpful and you enjoyed it,  please comment your favorite tips in the Comments section down below. I’ll be happy to hear from you!

With love,

Bea ♡
